Link Every Page to Your
Home Page
by Rena Larrañaga
Feb. 2, 2002
Sure, you can direct traffic
to your home page only in your off-line marketing efforts. But
what if a visitor uses a search engine and locates a page deep
in your website? Will they know what your company is about? If
not, will they be able to find out easily by traveling to your
home page with just one click?
Because you never know which
page your potential customer will land on, always include a link
to your home page on every page of your site.
Be sure the link to your home
page is in the same location on each page. Consistent navigation
makes your site more "user-friendly."
